Description

These delicious Air Fryer Sliders are quick and easy to make, featuring juicy seasoned beef patties cooked to perfection in the air fryer, topped with melted American cheese, and served on butter-toasted slider buns with a tangy homemade sauce. Perfect for game day, parties, or a tasty snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Patties

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Cheese and Buns

  • 4 slices deli style American cheese
  • 8 slider buns
  • 2-3 tablespoons butter

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare and Season the Patties: In a bowl, combine the ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke (if using), seasoned salt, and garlic powder. Mix gently to incorporate all ingredients without overworking the meat. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and flatten each into a slider-sized patty.
  2. Cook Patties in Air Fryer: Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway through if necessary, until fully cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F. Then, lay half slices of American cheese on each patty and return to the air fryer for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  3. Toast the Buns: While the cheese is melting, spread butter on the slider buns and toast them in the air fryer or on a skillet until golden and crispy.
  4. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and white vinegar until smooth. Season with garlic salt and chili powder to taste, adjusting seasoning as preferred.
  5. Assemble the Sliders: Spread the prepared sauce generously on the bottom halves of the toasted buns. Place the cheesy patties on top, cover with the bun tops, and serve immediately for best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • You can omit the liquid smoke if you prefer a milder flavor.
  • Adjust the garlic salt and chili powder in the sauce to suit your taste preferences.
  • Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow even cooking.
  • These sliders can be made ahead and reheated gently in the air fryer.
