Ingredients
Scale
Beef Mixture
- 1 pound ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Salad
- 3 romaine hearts, chopped
- 1 cup (4 oz) cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup dill pickle chips, chopped
- 1/4 sweet onion, diced
- 1/2 cup Big Mac sauce
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Ground Beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Crumble the beef as it cooks and cook until no pink remains, about 8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Prepare the Salad Base: While the beef cooks, divide the chopped romaine lettuce evenly between the serving bowls. Top each with approximately 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup chopped dill pickle chips, and a sprinkle of diced sweet onion.
- Assemble the Salad: Once the beef is cooked and drained, evenly distribute it over the prepared salads. Drizzle 1/2 cup Big Mac sauce evenly over the salads. Garnish each bowl with a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- The Big Mac sauce can be store-bought or homemade for extra flavor depth.
- To reduce calories, use lean ground beef or substitute with ground turkey or chicken.
- For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce or crushed red pepper flakes.
- This salad can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Use fresh dill pickle chips for the best crunch and flavor.
