Description

These Big Mac Wraps are a delicious and easy twist on the classic cheeseburger. Featuring savory seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, onions, and pickles all wrapped in a warm flour tortilla with a creamy homemade Big Mac sauce, they make a perfect quick lunch or dinner option. For added crispness, the wraps can be toasted in a skillet, combining the flavors you love in a convenient handheld format.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef Mixture

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Wrap Assembly

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup dill pickle slices

Big Mac Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 2 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef seasoned with salt and black pepper until fully browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain any excess grease and set the beef aside to keep warm.
  2. Prepare the Big Mac Sauce: While the beef is cooking, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, garlic powder, onion powder, and white vinegar in a small bowl. Stir well until the sauce is smooth and fully blended.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for a few seconds or lightly heat in a skillet to make them more pliable for folding.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Spread a spoonful of the prepared Big Mac sauce in the center of each warm tortilla. Layer evenly with the cooked beef, shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, diced onions, and dill pickle slices.
  5. Fold the Wraps: Fold the bottom of each tortilla up over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to form a burrito-style wrap.
  6. Optional Toasting: For a crispy texture, place the assembled wraps seam-side down in a skillet and toast for 1–2 minutes per side over medium heat until golden brown.

Notes

  • For a low-carb variation, substitute flour tortillas with low-carb tortillas or use large lettuce leaves as wraps.
  • You can transform these wraps into sliders by using mini pita pockets instead of large tortillas.
  • To enhance flavor, feel free to add a slice of tomato or extra pickles based on preference.
  • Use lean ground beef to reduce fat content if desired.
