Pasta:

Chicken:

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Cheese Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
- Prepare Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté. Stir in flour to form a roux. Slowly whisk in milk and chicken broth, stirring constantly until smooth. Simmer until thickened.
- Add Cheese: Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy. Add cooked pasta and chicken to the sauce, stirring to coat evenly. Heat through.
- Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
