			Asparagus:
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus (about 1 lb), trimmed
 
Seasoning:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
 
Cheese Topping:
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - Optional: chopped parsley or red pepper flakes for garnish
 
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease lightly.
 - Prepare Asparagus: Arrange trimmed asparagus on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
 - Roast: Roast in the oven for 12–15 minutes until tender-crisp.
 - Add Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over asparagus. Bake for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
 - Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley or red pepper flakes. Serve warm.
 
Notes
- For a crispier finish, broil the asparagus for the last 1–2 minutes after adding cheese.
 - Substitute mozzarella with Gruyère or provolone if desired.
