 - 2 large eggs
 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
 - 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
 - 1/4 cup milk
 - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
 - Mix cookie layer: Cream butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients, then mix in chocolate chips.
 - Prepare brownie layer: Mix cocoa powder, baking powder, milk, and chocolate chips with half of the cookie dough.
 - Layer and bake: Spread brownie mixture in the pan, top with remaining cookie dough, add walnuts, and bake for 30–35 minutes.
 - Cool and serve: Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.

- For gooey brownies, underbake slightly and let them set as they cool.
