Description

A vibrant and refreshing Christmas Fruit Salad featuring a colorful mix of green apples, grapes, kiwis, raspberries, strawberries, and pomegranate seeds, dressed lightly with orange juice and honey. This easy no-cook recipe is perfect for holiday gatherings and lasts well refrigerated for a few days.

Ingredients

Scale

Fruits

  • 2 green apples
  • 2 cups green grapes
  • 2 green kiwis
  • 3 ounces raspberries
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds

Dressing

  • Juice of 1 orange
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Ensure all the fruit is washed thoroughly. Dice the apples into bite-sized pieces, halve or quarter the grapes if they are large. Peel and dice the kiwis, and quarter the strawberries. Place all the prepared fruit, along with the raspberries and pomegranate seeds, in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the orange juice and honey until well combined.
  3. Combine and serve: Pour the dressing over the mixed fruit in the bowl. Gently toss everything together to evenly coat the fruit with the dressing. Serve immediately or store covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 to 3 days.

Notes

  • Use fresh, ripe fruits for the best flavor and texture.
  • The salad can be prepared a few hours in advance and refrigerated, but avoid storing for more than 3 days to prevent fruit from becoming mushy.
  • Adjust the honey amount to taste or substitute with maple syrup for a vegan option.
  • To keep apples from browning, toss them with a little lemon juice before mixing.
