Scale
Banana Chips
- 2 ripe bananas (about 200g)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Cooking spray, for air fryer basket
Instructions
- Slice Bananas: Peel and thinly slice the bananas into approximately 1/8-inch thick rounds to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
- Prepare Cinnamon Sugar Coating: In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Toss the banana slices in this mixture until they are evenly coated with the cinnamon sugar.
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) to get it ready for cooking the banana slices.
- Arrange Slices: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Arrange the banana slices in a single layer inside the basket, making sure they are not overlapping for even cooking.
- Air Fry: Air fry the banana slices for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time to ensure they brown evenly and achieve a crispy texture.
- Cool and Serve: Let the banana chips cool slightly after air frying to maximize crunchiness before enjoying as a delicious snack.
