For the creamy Parmesan pasta:
- 8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta: Boil salted water and cook pasta. Reserve pasta water.
- Cook the chicken: Sauté chicken with seasonings until golden.
- Make the sauce: Cook garlic in butter, add cream, cheese, and seasonings. Simmer.
- Combine: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce.
