Orange Layer
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg orange Jello powder (or any orange-flavored gelatin)
- 1/2 cup cold water

Black Cherry/Grape Layer
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 pkg black cherry or grape Jello powder
Garnish
- 1 cup candy corn
- 1 cup gummy worms
Instructions
- Boil Water for Orange Layer: Heat 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan over high heat until it reaches a rolling boil.
- Dissolve Orange Jello: Remove from heat and stir in the orange Jello powder until completely dissolved.
- Add Cold Water and Vodka: Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and 1/2 cup vodka (or soda for non-alcoholic) gently to combine.
- Pour Orange Layer: Pour the orange Jello mixture halfway into shot glasses.
- Refrigerate Orange Layer: Place the glasses in the refrigerator for about 1 hour to allow the orange layer to set.
- Boil Water for Black Cherry/Grape Layer: While the first layer sets, boil another cup of water.
- Dissolve Black Cherry/Grape Jello: Stir the black cherry or grape Jello powder into the boiling water until fully dissolved.
- Pour Second Layer: Once the orange layer is set, carefully pour the black cherry or grape mixture over it in each shot glass.
- Final Refrigeration: Return the shot glasses to the refrigerator and chill for an additional 2-3 hours until the black layer is fully set.
- Garnish and Serve: Before serving, top each jello shot with candy corn or a gummy worm for a festive Halloween touch.
