- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 3 cloves garlic (minced)
 - 1/4 cup honey
 - 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
 - 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or rice vinegar)
 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
 - 1 teaspoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water (optional for thickening)
 - Chopped green onions and sesame seeds for garnish
 
Instructions
- Heat olive oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat.
 - Cook chicken: Season and cook chicken for 4–5 minutes per side. Set aside.
 - Sauté garlic: In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
 - Make sauce: Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and black pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
 - Thicken sauce: If desired, add cornstarch mixture and simmer until thickened.
 - Finish dish: Return chicken to skillet, coat with sauce, and cook for additional 2–3 minutes.
 - Garnish and serve: Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
