Graham Cracker Crust:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
Layers:
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
- Create the Crust: Mix melted butter with graham cracker crumbs in a small bowl. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
- Layer Ingredients: Add layers of coconut, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and nuts over the crust in the specified order.
- Add Condensed Milk: Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the top layer. Gently press down with a spatula to set the layers.
- Bake: Bake for 25–30 minutes until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
- You can customize these bars by using peanut butter or white chocolate chips instead of butterscotch chips.
- To make nut-free bars, omit the nuts or substitute with sunflower seeds.
