Description

Indulge in the tropical goodness of this easy-to-make Mango Float dessert. Layers of sweet mangoes, whipped cream, and graham crackers create a luscious treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Graham Cracker Layer:

  • 1 pack (about 200g) graham crackers or digestive biscuits

Whipped Cream Mixture:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Additional:

  • 4 ripe mangoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Extra crushed graham crackers for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Whip the Cream: In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract to the whipped cream, continuing to whip until well combined and slightly thickened.
  3. Layer the Dessert: In an 8×8-inch dish, layer graham crackers at the bottom. Spread a layer of the cream mixture over the crackers, then arrange a layer of sliced mangoes on top. Repeat layers (crackers, cream, mangoes) until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of cream and a final topping of mango slices and crushed graham crackers if desired.
  4. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the layers to set.
  5. Serve: Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use ripe, sweet mangoes like Carabao or Ataulfo for best flavor.
  • Freezing the dessert yields a firmer texture similar to an icebox cake.
  • Add a squeeze of lime to the cream for a tangy twist.
