Description

Delight in these luscious Nutella Cheesecake Bars featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, a rich creamy cheesecake layer, and a decadent Nutella swirl. Perfect for dessert lovers craving a smooth, chocolate-hazelnut twist on classic cheesecake bars.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust:

  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs (about 15 full crackers)
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

Cheesecake Layer:

  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream

Nutella Swirl:

  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
  2. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Mix well until combined. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Make the Cheesecake Layer: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Add 1 cup granulated sugar and beat until well combined. Add eggs one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Mix in vanilla extract and sour cream until smooth.
  4. Spread the Cheesecake Layer: Pour the cheesecake batter evenly over the cooled crust and spread with a spatula.
  5. Prepare the Nutella Layer: In a small bowl, combine Nutella and heavy cream. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until the mixture is smooth and pourable.
  6. Create the Swirls: Drop spoonfuls of the Nutella mixture over the cheesecake layer. Use a knife or toothpick to gently swirl the Nutella into the cheesecake batter, creating a marbled effect.
  7. Bake the Cheesecake: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set and edges are slightly golden. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours or overnight to set fully.
  8. Serve: Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the cheesecake out of the pan. Place on a cutting board, cut into bars, and serve chilled. Enjoy your decadent Nutella cheesecake bars!

Notes

  • Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture and flavor.
  • Allow the cheesecake to chill thoroughly to ensure clean slices.
  • You can substitute Nutella with any chocolate-hazelnut spread if desired.
  • For easier removal, chill the cheesecake bars overnight.
  • Store leftovers refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
