Ingredients

Scale

Puff Pastries:

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed

Chocolate Filling:

  • 1/3 cup Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread

Egg Wash:

  • 1 egg, beaten

Optional:

  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for dusting, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the pastry: Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface, cut into rectangles, and fill each with Nutella.
  3. Seal the pastries: Fold over the pastry, press the edges to seal, and brush with beaten egg.
  4. Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
  5. Finish: Let cool, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Make sure the Nutella stays in the center to prevent leaking during baking.
  • You can also add sliced strawberries or bananas for variation.
