Description

This fresh and zesty Peach Salsa combines the natural sweetness of ripe Georgia peaches with the vibrant flavors of red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, lime, garlic, and jalapeno. Perfect as a topping for grilled meats, fish, or served with tortilla chips as a refreshing snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale

Peach Salsa Ingredients

  • 3 Georgia Peaches, pitted, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1/8 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, minced or chopped
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded, pith removed and minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Thoroughly wash all fresh produce. Peel, pit, and dice the Georgia peaches; seed and dice the red bell pepper; dice the red onion; chop the fresh cilantro; zest and juice the lime; mince the garlic; and seed, remove pith, and mince the jalapeno pepper. Place all prepared ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix and Adjust: Gently toss all the ingredients in the bowl to combine evenly. Taste the salsa and adjust seasoning by adding more salt or lime juice as preferred for a balanced flavor. Serve immediately or refrigerate to enhance flavors.

Notes

  • For a milder salsa, remove all seeds from the jalapeno or omit it entirely.
  • This salsa is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 2 days.
  • Use ripe but firm peaches to maintain texture.
  • Pair with grilled chicken, fish tacos, or as a dip with tortilla chips.
