Brownie Batter:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Peanut Butter Filling:

  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix brownie batter: Melt butter, then stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder and mix.
  3. Layer: Spread half of the brownie batter in the pan. Mix peanut butter and powdered sugar, spread over the batter. Top with remaining batter and chocolate chips.
  4. Bake: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until set. Cool before cutting into squares.
