			Ingredients:
- 2 red apples (such as Gala or Honeycrisp)
 - 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
 - juice of half a lemon
 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 - 2 tablespoons apricot preserves or honey
 - 1 tablespoon water
 - flour for dusting
 - powdered sugar for garnish (optional)
 
Instructions
- Preheat the oven and prepare muffin tin: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a standard 6-cup muffin tin.
 - Prepare the apples: Slice the apples, core them, and cut into thin slices. Microwave with lemon juice and water, then drain and cool.
 - Prepare the pastry: Roll out puff pastry, cut into strips, and smooth with a rolling pin. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. In another bowl, mix apricot preserves and water.
 - Assemble the roses: Spread a thin layer of preserves on each strip. Arrange apple slices on top, fold pastry, and roll up to form rose shapes. Place in muffin tin.
 - Bake: Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden. Cool slightly before removing from tin.
 - Serve: Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

- Best served the day they’re made, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 day.
