- 1 cup (240 g) mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp ketchup
Cheeses and Meats
- 1 ½ cups (150 g) shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 ½ cups (150 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (150 g) corned beef, chopped
Vegetables & Seasonings
- 1 cup (150 g) sauerkraut, drained and squeezed dry
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or one of similar size to ensure the dip won’t stick.
- Mix the Dip Base: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Add Cheeses, Corned Beef, and Sauerkraut: Stir in the shredded Swiss cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped corned beef, and well-drained sauerkraut, ensuring everything is evenly combined for consistent flavor in every bite.
- Spread in Baking Dish: Transfer the dip mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly to allow for uniform baking.
- Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese on top is melted and slightly golden brown.
- Serve Warm: Remove from the oven and serve immediately with crackers, chips, sliced bread, or fresh vegetables for dipping. Enjoy the warm, cheesy, and savory classic flavors of this Reuben Dip!
Notes
- Be sure to drain and squeeze the sauerkraut well to prevent excess moisture in the dip.
- For a spicier kick, add a teaspoon of hot sauce or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the dip mixture.
- This dip can be prepared a day ahead and baked just before serving to save time.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated gently in the oven.
- For a lower-fat version, use light cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
