- 8 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/2 pound shrimp (peeled, deveined, and chopped)
- 1/2 pound lump crab meat (picked over for shells)
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs (optional, for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta: Cook the pasta until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Prepare the sauce: Sauté garlic in butter, add shrimp and cook until pink. Add crab, cream, cheeses, seasoning, and simmer.
- Combine pasta and sauce: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, then transfer to a baking dish.
- Bake: Top with breadcrumbs and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.
