Description

A refreshing and tropical iced green tea beverage made with brewed green tea, pineapple juice, coconut water, honey, lime juice, and fresh mango pieces. Perfect for a cooling, healthy drink on a warm day.

Ingredients

Scale

Tea Base

  • 2 cups green tea (prepared from tea bags or loose tea)

Juices & Sweeteners

  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice

Add-ins

  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup diced mango

Instructions

  1. Steep the green tea: Heat two cups of water until simmering, then pour over green tea bags or loose leaf in a heatproof container and steep for 3-5 minutes.
  2. Cool the tea: Remove tea bags or strain leaves, then let the tea cool to room temperature or refrigerate to chill faster.
  3. Prepare juice mixture: Measure pineapple juice, coconut water, and honey. Stir honey into the liquid until completely dissolved.
  4. Combine tea and juice: Pour the cooled green tea into a large glass or pitcher, then add the pineapple juice, coconut water, and honey mixture, stirring gently.
  5. Add lime juice: Squeeze in half a teaspoon of lime juice to introduce a citrus flavor.
  6. Chill with ice: Add half a cup of ice cubes to the drink to cool it thoroughly.
  7. Add mango pieces: Stir in quarter cup of diced mango for a tropical texture and natural sweetness.
  8. Serve immediately: Present your tropical iced green tea chilled and enjoy its refreshing taste.

Notes

  • Use fresh juice if possible for the best flavor.
  • Adjust honey quantity based on desired sweetness.
  • Allow the tea to cool completely before mixing to avoid melting the ice quickly.
  • Optional: Garnish with a slice of lime or fresh mint leaves for extra aroma.
  • This drink is best consumed immediately after preparation to enjoy the fresh mango texture.
