 - 1 cup sour cream
 - 1 cup whipped topping, plus more for garnish
 - 1/2 cup shredded sweetened coconut
 
Optional Additions:
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
 - Maraschino cherries and extra pineapple chunks for garnish
 
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed pineapple and instant vanilla pudding mix. Stir until slightly thickened, about 1 minute.
 - Add Creaminess: Fold in the sour cream, whipped topping, vanilla extract, shredded coconut, and nuts if using. Mix gently until smooth.
