			Cabbage:
- 1 small head green cabbage (about 6 cups chopped)
 
Dumplings:
- 2 tablespoons butter
 - 1 small onion (diced)
 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 2 teaspoons baking powder
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 2 large eggs
 - 1/2 cup milk
 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
 
Other:
- 4 cups chicken broth (or water with bouillon)
 - Additional salt and pepper to taste
 - Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
 
Instructions
- Sauté Onion and Cabbage: In a large pot, melt butter and cook diced onion until softened. Add chopped cabbage and cook until tender and golden.
 - Prepare Dumplings: Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat eggs with milk and combine with dry ingredients to form a dough.
 - Cook Dumplings: Pour chicken broth into the pot with cabbage, simmer, and drop spoonfuls of dumpling batter. Cover and cook for 12–15 minutes.
 - Season and Serve: Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.
